     don't investigate--give it willingly, eat me
eat me in the darkest room of the house
     don't report this on your income tax, eat me
eat me if the cause seems popular
     don't read the papers, eat me
eat me if the neighbor's skinny shocks you
     don't bend beside the horse, eat me

eat me behind the nervous wretches
     why offer them time, eat me
eat me whenever your smug smile twitches
     conjure up more religion, eat me
eat me south of the lawless turnpike
     turn your face from the glare, eat me
eat me without thought of repercussion
     claim memory lapse, eat me
eat me during your dead air minutes
     the sky is ours, eat me
eat me even after the loss
     it's just business, eat me
